A new study published by the Daily Mirror reveals that exercising with others makes people happier, with 23% of social exercisers feeling "pumped and elated" post-workout compared to 16% of solo exercisers. Other findings:
- 4% of people who work out in a group find exercise feels like a chore, compared to 16% of solo exercisers
- Exercising with friends, as opposed to exercising alone, leads to feeling more positive (54% versus 30%), more fulfilled (27% versus 9%), and more content (41% versus 35%)
- 49% of people who exercise together say it fosters a tight bond
