Bama Rolls Past Georgia in Overtime for National Title

Alabama won college football's national title for the fifth time in nine years last night, beating Georgia 26-23 in overtime after coming back from being down 13-0 at halftime. The College Football Playoff championship game went into overtime because Alabama missed a 36-yard field goal at the end of regulation time, but they got the walk-off OT win when quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who was put in for starting quarterback Jalen Hurts at halftime, threw a 41-yard touchdown to DeVonta Smith.
