Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin has become just the 20th player in NHL history to score 600 goals, getting his 599th and 600th career goals last night in the Capitals' 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets. The 32-year-old Ovechkin, who's playing in his 13th NHL season, become the fourth-fastest player to reach 600 goals, behind only Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Brett Hull.
